New technology, whether an iPod or a laptop, is something that, well to be honest, Im not good at knowing a lot about. Sure I can blog and I can figure out things but to me buying a laptop is like buying a car. Its a big purchase that I will have for a while. I can buy a car or a laptop. But, knowing what to do with it when I get home…well thats another story. 
Or so I thought until I went laptop shopping! I was lost!
I have always had a desktop with wires and cords everywhere! Since my desktop finally went to computer heaven (its never been right since lightning struck a pole right outside of my front door over a year ago!) , it was time to get a laptop. But I wanted to go wireless everything. Router, mouse, printing capabilities etc. Thats again where Im lost
Let me introduce you to my new “best friends” Garcea Computers. I called last Friday and talked to Jeff, the owner. What a sweet guy!!! He listened to what I was looking for, what I needed and what my business as well as personal needs were for a laptop. He ordered for me what I needed. I drove that poor man crazy. I must have sent him at least 2 emails per day with questions, things I forgot to ask etc. He professionally ( and patiently!) answered every email almost immediately and definitely within one day! I dropped off my old desktop on Wednesday so they could transfer all of my old files, internet favorites etc to my new laptop. I gave them the software that needed to be installed and we set an appointment for Friday for them to come out and hook up everything (note: I definitely could have had this earlier but due to my work schedule it didnt work to do it any earlier).
Jeremy, one of the techs, was at my house by 9:40 on Friday morning and I was up and running by 10:30 am!!! Wireless, printer working etc! I didnt have too many questions, but had I, Jeremy would have stayed and answered them all.
While I cannot quote prices ( you need to contact them) have you priced big box stores for computer repair? Yeah its crazy! I LOVE that Garcea computers is a small local business. Support your small businesses!
